| How to apply
a new OSX icon. |

| Step 1 |

| Download the icons and locate
the file, they will usually be on your desktop. Our files are
compressed as .dmg (disk image). The compressed .dmg file will
usually automatically mount the volume onto your desktop (see
2nd icon in image below). Open it by double clicking it. |

| Once you have opened the volume
you will see the icon files. |
| |

| Step 3 |

| Click once on an icon file to select it. |
| |

| Step 4 |

| Hold down the "Apple" key and press the "i" key
to get info on the icon file. An information window will open.
(Our system is Japanese as you can see.) |

| Step 5 |

| In the top left of the information window you
will see a small preview of the icon. Click on it once to select
it. It will glow to notify you it has been selected. |

| Step 6 |
| |
| From the top apple menu bar, choose "copy" from
the
"edit" menu. Or use the key combination - "Apple" + "c". |

| Step 7 |

| Locate the file you would like
to apply the new icon to, I have one prepared on the desktop
called "test.txt".
(Note: Your dock only accepts application
files, if you want to add the icon to the dock you need to
apply it to an application.) |

| Step 8 |

| Select the file by clicking on it once. |
| |

| Step 9 |
| |
| Open the information window for your new file
using the same method - "Apple" + "i". Then click on the small
icon preview in the top left of the window, it will glow. |

| Step 10 |

| Paste the new icon by using the
key combination
"Apple" + "v" or by choosing "paste" from
the edit menu at the top of your screen. You will see the icon
change to the newly applied icon. |

| Locate your file. The new icon
has been applied. |
